WORKERS
La Hacienda has a team of four employees, all of them from the local village: two women working in the kitchen, another woman helping with and taking care of the clothing and washing and a local farmer who helps with the farm.

The Olvera family (Mother, doughter, son and wife) has been in charge of the administration and guidance of The hacienda for several years. They take care of the boys and attend to their different neads coordinating their different activities. This family structure seems to help the boys very much. Besides taking care of the boys, the Olvera family is in charge of the budget, making monthly administrative reports, and reporting some other types of activities to the Board of Directors. They also organize the day by day activities at home and at the farm working together with the boys and employees.

THE PATRONATO

The Patronato for the Hacienda it’s made up of alumni from the hacienda and Jill Zapien, all of them appointed by Susan hardyman. Their role is to make general decisions about the management of the hacienda, provide support for the Directors and administrators, provide guidance and objectives for the working program reaching for the goals of “ Study, work and Producction”. They also provide oversite for the budget and make administrative reports to The Mexican Goverment.
